Childhood

Enna was born on a mild spring day to Vadania who died shortly after giving naming the child. Upon his wife’s death, Erdan began to take more jobs with the Cartographers' Guild and traveled far for many months. Enna and Erdan were sent from Haelink to the Gaola Highlands to remain under the care of their Aunt Leshanna when Enna was just a year old. Erdan rarely visited the siblings and was always distant towards Enna, as she reminded him too much of his late wife.

Leshanna quickly became their adopted mother and the Laurealasse community welcomed them. The elves of Laurealasse were primarily druids. Elves of different seasons communed with nature in harmony and often roamed in their animal form. Enna and Erevan were raised to revere nature and honor the Verogod Jaklodin.

Enna grew into a jovial child. She frequently played outdoors with her brother, Erevan, who would craft her small crowns of starflowers, their namesake.

Erevan grew into a handsome man with great strength and leadership though he remained as cunning and mischievous as ever. Enna found herself in Erevan’s shadow of influence which suited her. She was very naive and found communicating with others challenging. Erevan became Enna’s protector and best friend. The two were inseparable.

On a brisk spring morning, while Enna collected wild herbs, she was cornered by a brown bear. Erevan shape shifted into a dire wolf and kept the bear at bay; his first shape change and his favorite.

Recent Events

Two months ago, during the night, the community was attacked. Enna awoke to screams outside of her window. Terrified, she snuck out of the back door and hid in a cave in the woods nearby. She curled up for the night, frightened as to what the morning might hold.

Come daylight, Enna carefully returned to the camp and was horrified as to what lay before her. Mutilated bodies lay in the streets, men, women and children. She walked past the corpses of her neighbors and friends to her home. Lashanna lay in front of the door.. Her torso slashed open with body pooling down the steps.. Hysterical, Enna searched the house and through the town for Erevan. His body was nowhere to be found. Enna returned to the house and found her brother’s ring, which bore their family crest. Numb, Enna stayed in her room for two days waiting for another soul to make itself known, but none did.

Enna believes that whatever attacked the town has her brother. She feels an intense guilt for hiding while the town was decimated. She is traveling to local villages to see if they have any information regarding the creature(s) that attacked the community. Her one goal is to find Erevan no matter the cost. Enna, while still naive, is trying to be brave. Erevan was always so brave for her, now she must be brave to find him.
