Marran Holidays

Golden Days

First day of Autumn

A Sylvan holiday by origin, the end of the harvest is commemorated with the passing of the wandering Autumnal Forest. For nearly a week, while the trees are golden, the fey commemorate the season by crowning an “Autumn King.” Stories are told, feasts are made, and many other traditions take place depending on the area. The festival typically continues until most of the leaves have fallen from the trees as the wandering forest completes its pass.

This holiday is celebrated commonly in Haelink, Tiban, and Ginwil. Some parts of the Marran Empire take part as well. Albermarr in particular, with its massive fey cherry tree, holds a prominent 5-day official holiday during the event.
