A vast barren plain spreads from the southern highlands to the mountains of [[Tiban]] and the forests of [[Haelink]]. Without a trace of [[Fahrstone]] present, the land is unnavigable to ordinary men. Despite this, lone hermits thrive in the fertile grounds. Endless fields of grain and corn have spread beyond the plots of men and cover this once barren land. Large solitary predators such as basilisks find an easy existence here, feeding upon the game that lives amongst the fields. A few lone settlements of entrepreneurial families that have paid for the transportation of Fahrstone dot the landscape every few score of leagues, but are unable to expand past their meager size.
